Marco Spada is a founding partner.
Marco’s practice is primarily focused on contract and corporate law, assisting clients on complex corporate transactions, company reorganisations, national and international investments and advising on general corporate matters, in particular in relation to commercial contracts and intellectual property.
Marco has gained substantial experience in international and domestic acquisitions and divestitures, mergers, demergers, capital increases, and other complex transactions and corporate reorganisations, advising both Italian and international companies operating in a wide range of different sectors. He also provides assistance in relation to venture capital transactions, to investors and to start-up companies.
Marco also advises clients in relation to a wide range of corporate and corporate governance matters, including providing assistance in relation to regulatory matters for Italian listed companies and in relation to the negotiation of shareholder agreements and joint venture agreements.
He also assists both Italian and non-Italian companies on contractual issues, including those relating to civil, corporate and insolvency litigation.
Marco is also in charge of developing the firm’s Latin American practice aimed at assisting Latin American clients who already operate, or who plan to operate, in the Italian market, as well as Italian clients who plan to expand into the Latin American market.
Before founding De Lorenzi Micciché Scalera Spada – Avvocati Associati, Marco worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton until 2015 and at the law firm of Professor G. Scorza until 2006.
